This popular challenge in its 5th year is a 35km walk following the South Downs from Arundel to Brighton. The event raises money for the amazing work of the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity
Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity has been supporting families and children under five years old with cerebral palsy and other motor learning difficulties since 2001, and has now embarked on an exciting new chapter in their history. In this special year for the Charity, as they celebrate their President, Dame Vera Lynn’s 100th Birthday, the charity would like to raise £30,000 from the A2B Walk to allow them to fund a new Outreach Service for its first year. Given that many of the children suffer with additional medical conditions, families are not always able to access the service. An Outreach Service will help provide support to those families who cannot otherwise come to their facility, or who would like some additional support in their own home.
Starting from spectacular Arundel Castle, the walk follows much of the South Downs Way, taking in stunning scenery and amazing views en route to the finish point at Devils Dyke.
